Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve compiled some questions that I get asked often. I believe that transparency is incredibly important in this industry, and I want you to have a good idea of what I’m all about before moving forward.

Do you deliver all the images from the shoot?

No, I do not. Duplicates, test shots, missed focus shots won’t make it to final delivery. Also, not every photo makes the final cut and there are many reasons why - not as sharp as I would like it to be, unflattering facial expressions, doesn’t match my artistic expression, etc. I only want to deliver the best ones!

What do you mean by “touching up” the photos?

Basic color correction, removal of small blemishes, fly-away hairs, etc. I always maintain the integrity of the photo.

Your prices seem expensive. Why should we hire you?

I love this question! It’s taken me years to finally charge a price that I am confident with and reflects the value of my work. Yes, you will always find cheaper photographers and ones that may fit within your budget. Rather than bore you with a long list of virtues, I will leave you with this quote:

It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money — that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do.”

Do you do videography, too?

No, but I really admire a photographer that can do both during a wedding day.

How will the photos be delivered?

The photos will be delivered to your email with a link to your online gallery. From there, you can download your photos with the provided PIN, share the link with friends/family, share to social media, and order prints through my online store.

What if I lose my photos?

There is a $100 replacement charge for additional downloads after the event has been archived. I strongly suggest you make atleast one copy of the download when you receive it from me.

I have the cutest dog ever. Can I bring him to the session?

ABSOLUTELY. Pets are encouraged at every single session. I have a special place in my heart for animals. I always recommend having a friend come that can keep your dog busy when they aren’t in the photos.
